Welcome to Captivating! My hope and prayer is that you fall more in love with Jesus as you take time from your busy day to read this blog. In order to give credibility to what I write, let me tell you a little bit about me, my vision for this blog, and what I believe.

About me...
Although I may never meet you in person, I want to make this blog as personable, comfortable and relational as possible. So here is a little bit about me! I am a daughter of a King, romanced by a Prince, and learning daily to be a woman of strength, dignity, and laughter (Proverbs 31:25). I am a college student at a very liberal campus and every day is a spiritual battle. Resolving to live for Jesus in a culture that says "it's all about me" isn't easy. But I don't have to do it alone! I rely daily on the strength and guidance of the Spirit and the support of the wonderful believers who are walking by my side. I love long walks, chai lattes, running, the mountains, good books, writing, and most of all, spending time with the people I love.

My vision for this blog...
My hope for this blog is simple. I desire to present truth from God's Word, revelations from the Spirit, and other useful resources to help women fall more in love with Jesus. I hope that this is a place where women are encouraged, convicted, and challenged in their faith. Finally, I pray that this becomes a community of support for myself and you, my sisters, as we strive to live for Him in the midst of our present culture.
